At the old freight blocks, nine tenants—including two fabrication shops and a rehearsal room—are contributing to a shared lease pool. The money will cover one negotiator and a common legal review, giving the tenants a way to see the terms together before anyone is pressed to decide alone. The pool cannot compel the owners.

Some owners are still offering short renewals with capped increases in the first year. The group will meet Monday in a vacant loading office near 44th Avenue. Tenants may join if their current terms expire before October.

From the worldRiNo Tendon Program Adds Two Evening Imaging Blockscivic · denver · magnitude 0.27

Two evening diagnostic blocks are now available through Denver’s RiNo tendon program, after support-rig fittings sent more painters, sign crews, fabricators and other overhead workers to the mobile clinic than it could take. Each slot includes motion imaging that night and a clinician’s recommendation about returning to work; follow-up runs through the city health network.

There is no charge at the point of use, and participation is voluntary. Coordinators said the schedule is for workers who could not give up a day just to find out whether persistent numbness meant an injury or ordinary fatigue.

The Enceladus Survey Directorate has held off on its planned vote over a crewed science team. The first autonomous returns did not establish whether the moon’s southern fissures offer a stable subsurface environment that a crew could reach. The survey craft will instead make lower, repeated passes through two active plume corridors for another six months.

The delay keeps the mission and its international funding intact, but postpones the first human commitment to the site. Crew advocates called the added pass caution at the point when the evidence had become worth following. Opponents said that unresolved ambiguity was the reason for robotic survey work.

At 7:12 that evening, Nuri came into the darkroom with their portfolio case tucked under one arm and a municipal confirmation blinking dimly on their wrist: Monday, 09:40, Civic Images Annex. Ondine was clipping a contact sheet to the line. She did not turn the safelight off when Nuri stopped beside her.

The first row held the frames Nuri had cut nine days earlier, marked by empty black gaps. Beneath them were six smaller rectangles from Teo’s corridor: the opened cream envelope on steel, Nuri’s hand at their mouth, the shop door half shut. “Six,” Nuri said. Ondine kept both hands on the wet paper. “Yes.”

Nuri set the portfolio case down carefully. “I’m taking your portrait to the city,” they said. “But when they ask who made it, I’m saying nobody.” Ondine looked at the confirmation light, then at the six frames drying between them. She did not cover them or take them down. “All right,” she said. Nuri left with the case unopened.
